Hi everybody, Dutch here. After getting settled into my foster home I've finally found time to write a little bit about myself. I am a beautiful boy with a sweet and gentle soul and a loving heart as big as Texas! My foster mommie has been thrilled because I am a super fast learner and am eager to please- I listen and watch and in no time I have it figured out. After only a couple of hours of getting here I learned if I wanted to go out all I had to do was to go to the glass patio door and tap on it with my paw. And you should have seen foster mommie run!!! She got doggie laughs! I am reliably house trained and have had no accidents in the house. The first night I was here my foster mommie put me in a thing she called a "crate" and closed the door. I fixed my bed just right and went to sleep and stayed very quiet all night long so my foster mommie could get her beauty rest. The second night here I beat foster mommie to bed!  I went into this crate thing by myself and went to bed on my own without foster mommie having to do a thing. Again I stayed very quiet and I got my beauty rest! he!! I have impeccable maners and don't even bother foster mommie when she eats (though I do look at her with my beautiful golden eyes) but never beg. I am not scared of thunder and bad weather (I slept while foster mommie was being kept awake by the thunder and wind and rain). I am healthy and thankfully don't have any of those nasty worms in my big, sweet heart. I have a good appetite but do not woof my food down- again I DO have manners.  I am just a sweet, gentle, loving guy who is looking for his furever family. I know that foster mommie loves me like crazy and I love her lots, too but would really love a furever home. Oh, and I have the softest, most velvety fur-- and I love it when people feel it (that means I'm getting petted).
