Welcome to CSRA/SA's 2022 Big Match! Please join us in celebrating our 20th year of rescuing and rehoming cocker spaniels in need in central Texas (and sometimes beyond)! By the end of this year, we will have saved the lives of well over 3000 dogs! WOW! Now, that's something to celebrate!
We currently have over 55 dogs in our care, including 18 in long-term care or on medical hold. CSRA/SA is an all-volunteer non-profit organization and we rely on YOUR donations to pay for the medical needs and daily care of the cocker kids in our program.
To help us continue our lifesaving mission and offset our expenses, we're kicking off our 2022 Big Match Matching Funds Challenge. This year, our amazing match fund donors have pledged $20,000 in matching funds -- that means that all donations up to $20,000 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by our matching funds pool. So, what do you say... can you help?
Each week in January 2022, we'll be sharing a new collection of Big Match stories written by some of our amazing foster families and volunteers -- without whose commitment of love, care and time our lifesaving program would not be possible. Because we don't operate a shelter or kennel, we can only save as many dogs as we have foster space to accommodate.
As you read the stories and consider donating to the 2022 Big Match, we also ask you to think about the possibility of opening your home to a cocker spaniel in need by offering to foster. It's a challenging and rewarding experience that will save lives and open your eyes and heart to the work of rescue like never before.
