Kingsley is the nicest 5 year-old cocker boy. He is a big marshallow-peep of a dog who is gentle, loving, and loyal. He is happiest just being at your feet at all times, but he loves to carry a tennis ball around in his mouth. Once he learns to trust you, he'll give you the ball to throw and he'll go get it. I have two Cocker boys of my own and they all three get along very well. Kingsley is submissive. One of my other dogs is very bossy, but there have been no problems between him and Kingsley. Kingsley is very well house trained. He will go sit at the door and won't move until I let him out. Also, if the water dish gets empty, he'll sit next to it and perhaps slap it with his paw to let me know he is thirsty. As far as temperament, you couldn't ask for a sweeter boy.
Kingsley is terrified of thunderstorms and does bark if it thunders outside. Like many cockers, he has some allergy issues for which he takes inexpensive meds and is on a grain-free diet. He also needs daily eye drops (also inexpensive). Kingsley would be happiest if he lived with an older person, retired couple, or just in a laid-back, quiet household. He will chase tennis balls, but he prefers to lie at your feet with a ball in his mouth. He is very laid back, really sweet, and extremely well house trained--a real gentleman. Likes to sleep on a mat and goes to bed (if he has his way) about 10 PM every night. He seems to especially like hanging out with the man of the house :)
