Thor's a really sweet and mellow guy. He kind of reminds me of Barkley from Sesame Street! Thor definitely feels his age and sleeps much of the time. But, he also likes playing fetch with a ball and going for walks and is pretty energetic while doing those activities. He also likes just hanging out in the backyard.
I've had no problems with him and Angus. Thor stuck his head in Angus' dog dish while Angus was eating and Angus reprimanded him, and that's about it. On Thursday, I put Thor in the crate when I went to work. He went in without a fuss. When I got home, he was sleeping quite soundly.
On Friday, I left the dogs together in the back room. When I got home, I snuck around back and looked through the window. Angus was lying in the chair, Thor was snoozing away on the sofa. Which is pretty funny because he hasn't gotten on the furniture at all when we're around, not even when we invited him up on the glider in the back yard.
He learned the doggie door (or was already familiar with the concept) right away. We haven't had any accidents. He sleeps through the night soundly. ~ Lara, foster mom
