Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Austin is an all-volunteer not-for-profit organization that does not receive any state or federal funding. This makes your gift even more special. We greatly appreciate your donation on behalf of our homeless Cocker kids that are in need of care.
The financial help received from concerned friends like you, in part, enables us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Cocker spaniels in need on a continuing basis.
CSRA/SA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation and your donation is fully tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law. Our EIN is 20-5647630. The email receipt you receive after making an online donation meets all the IRS requirements as a record of donation.

CSR Angels
As you know Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Austin / San Antonio is in need of donations on a regular basis. Only 1/3 of our operating costs are covered by our adoption fees! To help insure we are able to keep intake open year round and provide the high level of care needed for our dogs we’ve set up a way for you to donate monthly.Introducing CSR Angels! This program allows you to donate as much as you are able each month by credit or debit card.
Membership levels:
Protector ($5-10 per month) receive discounts to special CSRA events
Guardian ($11-25 per month) receive the above and a photo at the annual reunion
Hero ($26-49 per month) receive the above plus a CSRA dog scarf
Angel (+ $50 per month) receive the above plus a CSRA t-shirt

Employer Gift Match – Double Your Donation!

Randall’s Good Neighbor Program
Randalls offers a way to support CSRA/SA’s cocker kids! Through the Good Neighbor Program, you can link your Remarkable card to our account number, and we will receive a percentage of each purchase. Our account number is 91-3-5-2-9. Just visit your local Randalls and request that your card be linked to our number or simply bring this form to your favorite Randalls store. Additionally, during September each year, the Randalls Community Bucks program issues a Community Buck to shoppers for every $50 in groceries you buy. Collect as many as you can and send them to CSRA/SA. We will receive $1 for every Community Buck in the form of a Randalls Gift Card.
Home or Property Sale

Donate Your Vehicle
It’s easy to turn your car, motorcycle, boat or recreational vehicle into a gift for the animals. These vehicles will be presented during our two silent auctions, one during the Valentine’s Day season and the other in the fall. Use our online form or contact our partner, Charitable Auto Resources (CARS) at (877) 721-7387 FREE.
Your vehicle does not have to be in running condition. In fact, it doesn’t even have to be registered. We can arrange free towing from anywhere, even on evenings or weekends.
By donating your vehicle, proceeds directly benefit Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Austin’s mission of helping Cocker Spaniels in need in central Texas (and sometimes beyond)!

Bequests and Planned Gifts
When there’s a “will”, there’s a way……sounds a bit different than the regular version of an old cliche’, doesn’t it? What we are really talking about is a way for CSRA supporters to continue helping CSRA far into the future. It’s called BEQUESTS AND OTHER PLANNED GIFTS.
Many of you may already have “wills” that provide for your heirs and may even leave assets to charities you support. If so, KUDOS TO YOU! Almost 70% of U.S. residents pass on without leaving a “will”! Their assets are controlled by the county and state laws, who then decide whom receives what. In addition to being one of the simplest ways to distribute your estate, your “will” can also create a vehicle through which to make charitable gifts…to groups such as CSRA to help provide for the future of all the Cockers that are sure to need our help!
If you are one of the CSRA supporters who have not yet made your “will”, PLEASE DO SO AND CONSIDER MAKING A BEQUEST TO CSRA. Any amount “will” help ensure CSRA’s continuing ability to serve Cockers that need our help.
A “bequest” is a wonderful way to support the future work of CSRA and may help you avoid capital gains taxes and sometimes allows you to give more than you normally would be able to give. By having an attorney prepare your “will”, or revise it with a simple amendment, you can make a gift of a specific dollars amount, specific property, a percentage of your estate or what is left after your heirs have been taken care of. A simple “will” lets YOU control where your assets should go once you leave here and go onto “Cocker Heaven”.
