Destiny

Destiny is one of the sweetest, cutest, most lovable cockers you will ever meet. Everyone who meets her falls in love. Even though she’s a petite girl, she has no fear. She loves everyone and everything. There isn’t another dog, cat or person that she isn’t interested in getting to know. When her fosters brought her home, she ran in the house and settled down as if she had lived there her entire life. She is the easiest cocker her fosters have known. Destiny is 11 years old, but you wouldn’t know it from the energy she has. She hops around with glee and stands on her back legs when food or treats come out. Like most cockers, she is most animated when it’s time to eat. She loves walks and insists on being the lead dog when walked with other dogs. Destiny is still learning how to walk on the leash without going from side to side, but she’s faster than just about any other 11-year-old you might meet. She sleeps on her bed at night, but when she gets the opportunity to sleep in bed with her people, she settles down and sleeps all night without moving around and you don’t even know that she is there. Destiny is completely house broken and has yet to have an accident in the house. When she is taken outside, she runs and takes care of her business right away. She knows how to use a dog door and you can tell that she loves the independence she has going in and out on her own. She is also a quiet girl who doesn’t bark at strangers or the doorbell. When the rescue took her in, Destiny had a very large cyst on her neck that was removed which has since completely healed. She also has small cysts on her body which often develop on older dogs. She recently had a full dental and now has beautiful, clean teeth. Destiny loves other dogs and will do well in a home with other dogs and cats. She will also be fine in a home without other dogs, but she definitely loves company. Interested in giving Destiny a furever home?
