At 2.5 years old, Skye is ready to leave her days as an outside dog behind and embrace the comforts of indoor living. This sweet girl is looking forward to some pampering and a loving forever home to call her own.Skye is a delightful combination of sweet, snuggly, and full of excited energy! She loves nothing more than cuddling up with her favorite humans and showering them with affection. As a former outside dog, Skye is learning the ropes of indoor life, including potty training and furniture etiquette. With her food and praise-motivated nature, she's eager to please and quick to learn. Skye does well in a crate or in bed at night, making her a wonderful sleeping companion! While Skye is generally dog-friendly, she may exhibit some resource-guarding tendencies with other dogs, especially concerning food, toys, and her beloved human. With patient guidance and proper introduction, she can learn to share and thrive in a multi-pet household. Skye's interactions with cats are yet to be determined. A gradual introduction under supervision is recommended to ensure a harmonious living environment for all furry residents. Skye's gentle nature and history in a home with several kiddos make her an excellent companion for children. Her affectionate demeanor and playful spirit are sure to make her a cherished member of the family.While Skye adores human company, she experiences FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and will bark when left alone or crated during the day. Patience and training can help ease her transition to apartment living and alleviate separation anxiety.
