Adoptable Dogs

Adorable & adoptable: Toffee! Just like her namesake, she's ridiculously sweet and sticks with you.. literally, she's on you, all the time: Sweet T doesn't believe in personal space. She would just like very much to be a lap girl... but wait! There's a catch: Toffee doesn't really know how to jump up on furniture so she'll just put her paws up on your knees and give you the PuppyDog Eyeball and snuffle at you until you pick her up. Oh, and the other catch is that she's a big boned littled girl, so your lap needs to be sturdy! Toffee is only 7mths old, and like any other rambunctious puppy, she's gotta lotta learning to do. Leash walking, regular potty outside--she has "concepts" of those, but needs a little bit more training and consistency. She loves to play with toys..even when they're not "toys"... She LOVES food..even though she's a little nervous to take treats sometimes. This girl is 90% total goofball. Look, when you're as beautiful as Toffee is, you get a lotta leeway for Goof, thankfully. One day when she's older and wiser, Toffee will look back and think: Why did I try to eat my own collar? (we don't know, Toff, it did nothing to you) Why did I think cats were just strange looking dogs? (we thought the meow would tip you off, but..no). There's a whole world of learning out there and she's barrelling straight through it. She would love a family where she can blossom into the awesome dog she's destined to be. Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Austin/San Antonio adopts to applicants within the state of Texas. Prospective adopters must meet the dog(s) in which they are interested in person, in order to determine compatibility. We do not ship animals or provide transport.
